1. Technical Assistant
No of posts: 3 [UR: 2, OBC: 1]
Pay: Level-6 Rs.35,400 -1,12,400
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
Essential Qualification:
Veterinary Sciences : 1st class Bachelor’s degree (Minimum three years) in Veterinary Sciences (B.V. Sc.) from a recognized University.
Life sciences : 1st class Bachelor’s degree (Minimum three years) in Zoology from a recognized University.
Bioscience & Bioinformatics : 1st class Bachelor’s degree (Minimum three years) in Bioscience & Bio informatics or Biotechnology from a recognized University.
2. Technician
No of posts: 8 [UR: 3, OBC: 3, EWS: 1, SC: 1]
Pay: Level-2 Rs.19,900 -63,200
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Essential Qualification:
Life Sciences :
i) 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and
ii) At least One-year Diploma in MLT from a Govt. recognized institution
Computer Sciences :
i) 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and
ii) At least or One-year Diploma in Computer applications/ science from a Govt. recognized institution
No of posts: 4 [UR: 2, OBC: 1, EWS: 1]
Pay: Level-1 Rs.18,000-56,900
Age Limit: Not exceeding 25 years
Essential Qualification :
i) 10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from recognized board and
ii) One year working experience in a Govt. recognized/approved/registered lab.

b) Thereafter, candidates have to download the Application Form from the Institute’s website and a printed copy of the filled offline application form duly signed by the applicant along with relevant enclosures and non-refundable application fee in the form of Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred) only should be sent in a sealed envelope cover super scribing “Application for the post of………. (name of the post), (Registration Number)” to “Director, ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, Bokul, Lahowal, Dibrugarh – 786003, Assam” through speed Post/Registered post (applications by hand will not be received) latest by 08/09/2023.
c) The candidates need to attach the self-attested copies of the following documents along with their duly completed Application Form: -
i. Proof of Date of Birth
ii. Proof of Educational qualification from Class - Xth onwards
iii. Proof of Work Experience certificates
iv. Proof of Experience for age relaxation for the candidates working in Government Sector; in the prescribed format
v. Income and asset Certificate for EWS candidates, in the prescribed form at
vi. One-self attested recent passport size photograph
vii. Proof of Category i.e. SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy) /PwBD/EWS etc. in prescribed format
viii. No Objection Certificate (wherever applicable)
ix. Declaration of Experience for Candidates working in ICMR projects continuously
x. Any other document relevant to the essential qualification and eligibility criteria.
d) The candidates have to fill all the columns in the application form and should write ‘NA’ in respect of the clauses which are not applicable or relevant to the candidate.
f) Only applications received by speed post / registered post will valid Registration Number will be accepted. No other mode of application will be considered.
g) Applicants must register separately and submit separate application for each post.
